BOREAS Core Sample Boxes are heavy-duty yet lightweight solutions designed for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of drill core samples during mineral exploration operations.
Manufactured from high-quality polypropylene (PP), the boxes are reinforced with special UV-resistant additives, making them suitable for prolonged outdoor use and demanding field conditions. They are designed to perform reliably in temperatures ranging from approximately -35°C to +50°C.
Available for BQ, NQ, HQ, and PQ core sizes, BOREAS Core Sample Boxes feature rigid internal separators that help prevent core samples from shifting during transportation. Dedicated marking areas allow drill hole numbers, depth intervals, and other sample information to be easily written, stamped, or printed for efficient geological logging and sample management.
The boxes can be used with or without lids. Secure-fitting lids lock firmly onto the boxes, while integrated holes allow additional wire locking and lead sealing when enhanced sample security is required.
For efficient logistics and storage, the boxes are designed to nest together when empty and stack securely when full, helping reduce transportation volume, optimize core shed space, and lower overall handling and storage costs.
