From the North Wind to the Depths of the Earth
Every great journey begins with a direction.
Ours was shaped by a powerful wind from the north.
In ancient mythology, Boreas was the name of the North Wind—a symbol of strength, determination and transformation. Known across Anatolia as Poyraz, the echo of this wind lived on through time in the Boyraz family name. Today, that story is brought to life once again through decades of drilling experience and trusted relationships built around the world:

BOREAS Drilling Systems.
BOREAS represents more than the establishment of a new company. It is the natural result of years spent in the field, challenges overcome and projects successfully completed across diverse regions of the world. From the demanding mining sites of Africa to the high-altitude landscapes of Latin America, every experience gained along this journey forms the foundation of the solutions we provide today.
We supply high-performance drilling rigs, in-hole equipment, diamond products, auxiliary drilling equipment and spare parts for surface and underground exploration drilling operations. However, for us, true value goes far beyond delivering a machine or a piece of equipment. Our real responsibility is to ensure that every system operates reliably under the most demanding conditions and that our customers’ operations continue without interruption.
For this reason, we approach every project not merely as a supplier, but as a long-term solution partner. We combine engineering expertise with field experience, strong manufacturing capabilities with responsive technical support, and uncompromising quality standards with relationships built on trust.
BOREAS is not the beginning of a new story.
It is the rebirth of a journey that has been continuing for years—now under a stronger identity.
We take our name from the North Wind, our strength from our roots and our direction from our belief in the future.
Because some winds do more than simply blow;
they cross boundaries, shape direction and change the world.
